The Regional Media Conference on the "Role of media in fostering dialogue and social cohesion within and between Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Serbia" was successfully held in Sarajevo on March 26, 2021, as part of the "Dialogue 4 Future" regional program, jointly implemented by UNDP, UNICEF, and UNESCO. This significant event brought together journalists, editors, and media professionals from the three countries.

During the conference, an award ceremony recognized the best media reports that have made valuable contributions to social cohesion and dialogue in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Serbia. Moreover, all participants were invited to sign the Media Pledge Chart, committing to actively promote dialogue and enhance social cohesion within and between their respective nations.

The concept and planning of the Regional Media Conference were orchestrated by the Boram Agency Development. They were responsible for formulating the event's concept, devising the scenario and scene setters, defining the panelists and modalities, as well as setting the themes for the working groups. Additionally, the agency played a crucial role in promoting the call for submission of media reports that fostered social cohesion and peace-building in the three countries. Their efforts included widespread promotion in regional media and networks.

Furthermore, the Boram Agency organized a jury and carried out the awarding process, meticulously selecting three outstanding submissions (one from each country) that were honored during the Regional Media Conference. The award ceremony was even streamed live on Facebook, enhancing the event's reach and impact.

Overall, the conference successfully provided a platform for media professionals to explore ways to strengthen dialogue and social cohesion, ultimately contributing to a more harmonious future in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Serbia.
