"BORAM Agency, in collaboration with the Government of Switzerland and the United Nations (UN), has undertaken a joint program called 'Disaster Risk Reduction for Sustainable Development in Bosnia and Herzegovina' (JP DRR). This initiative aims to support Bosnian citizens, especially the most vulnerable groups and high-risk local communities, in preparing and adapting to the potential disasters and challenges across various sectors of development.
To effectively raise awareness and educate targeted audiences about disaster risk reduction in Bosnia and Herzegovina, BORAM Agency was entrusted with the task of developing and implementing a comprehensive communications campaign. The campaign was strategically organized through the United Nations' social media channels, ensuring widespread outreach and impact.
The responsibilities of BORAM Agency included the formulation of a robust methodology for the campaign's execution, defining key messages, and creating an overarching visual identity to maintain consistency throughout the campaign. As part of the initiative, the agency produced six engaging animated videos, conceptualizing the main content, designing scenarios, and handling post-production details and timelines.
Furthermore, BORAM Agency was instrumental in devising and executing the social media campaign, effectively utilizing various platforms to disseminate crucial information and encourage active participation from the audience. The combined efforts of the Government of Switzerland, the United Nations agencies (UNDP, UNICEF, UNESCO, UNFPA, and FAO), and BORAM Agency seek to empower the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina in building resilience against disasters and securing sustainable development for the nation."
