The project Environmentally Sound Management of Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) in Industrial and Hazardous Waste Sectors in BiH that aim to support the elimination and reduction of the release of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) into the environment, the United Nations member states signed the Stockholm Convention (Convention) in 2001. Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) has ratified this Convention in 2010. Hence the country, should meet the requirements of the Convention, which include avoiding the use of hazardous POPs by shifting to safer alternatives and removing old supplies and equipment containing these substances.
Since 2021 to date, BORAM conducted all the communication activities for UNDP in this project, including planning of the communication to suit individual activities of the project, organising events with complete technical and logistic support, offering creative solutions for campaigns and events, production of media materials, implementation of media campaigns, organisation of media briefings
