From an energy consumption perspective, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) is characterized as a country with high inefficiency in the residential, non-residential/public, industry and service sectors. At the same time, BiH has one of the most significant energy conservation potentials in the region. The country-s efforts on further economic development and generation of new employment could rely on energy efficiency improvement measures in the residential and public sector.
Under the guidance of UNDP Energy and Environment sector (GED project team and communication Analyst), BORAM organized the event and launched a public awareness campaign, to promote these significant results of the GED project and highlight its anticipated goals. The focus is on the environmental and socio-economic advantages of energy efficiency measures as well as on activities and achievements of the GED project. Communication included the creation, planning, organization and promotion of events. Development of a creative concept of the campaign, plans, production of all contents, as well as implementation of the campaign on traditional and digital media, and a post-project reporting and monitoring of media.
