On April 26, 2022, the final conference of the "Strengthening Media Literacy of Youth in Bosnia and Herzegovina" project took place at the Youth Centre Grbavica.
The project "Environmentally Sound Management of Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) in Industrial and Hazardous Waste Sectors in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH)" aims to contribute to the reduction and elimination of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) released into the environment.
The European Commission released the Opinion on BiH` application for EU membership on 29 May 2019. It included 14 key recommendations and reform priorities for the next steps of BiH's EU integration path. To support the release of the Opinion, in 3,5 months, Boram developed and placed a strong public communication campaign and implemented activities in 4 phases, under the guidance of the EU Special Representative Office in BiH.
The goal of the project Environmentally Sound Management of Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) in Industrial and Hazardous Waste Sectors in BiH is to reduce risk for people’s health and the environment through the prevention of U-POP releases, shifting from POPs toward non-POPs chemicals in the plastic industry, and sound destruction of at least 50 tons of POPs waste
The campaign centered around the key themes of the NHDR report: family benefits, women's equality in the labor market, disability equality, and child benefit. It was actively conducted across various social networks, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube, with a primary focus on Facebook for most of the posts.
