The AgriTech Summit is held as part of the EU4BusinessRecovery project funded by the European Union and the Federal Republic of Germany, and organized by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
The Anti-Corruption and Quality Control Office of the Sarajevo Canton organized a press conference on March 30, 2023, in Sarajevo.
The project "Environmentally Sound Management of Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) in Industrial and Hazardous Waste Sectors in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH)" aims to contribute to the reduction and elimination of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) released into the environment.
BORAM organized the event within the Green Economic Development (GED) project, implemented by UNDP in BiH and launched public awareness campaign to promote significant results of the project and highlight its upcoming goals.
The AgriTech summit had a central goal of showcasing how technological solutions address some of the most pressing challenges in agriculture today. Through joint discussions, the summit emphasized the significance of technological advancements in tackling key issues within the agricultural sector.
In April 2022, a group of young journalists from the Western Balkans came together in Sarajevo as part of the 'Regional Media Event,' a EU-supported initiative aimed at enhancing professional standards in journalism among young media practitioners from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Western Balkans.
Under the coordination and support of relevant authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), along with technical assistance donors and implementing agencies in the energy sector like USAID, UNDP, EUD, and the British Embassy Sarajevo, the Project, on behalf of the German Federal Government, played a crucial role in organizing the Energy Summit 2022. This significant event took place from 23rd to 25th March 2022 at the Grand Hotel Neum.
The event celebrated International Children's Day and marked the 75th anniversary of UNICEF in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was meticulously organized as a high-visibility hybrid gathering, bringing together UNICEF representatives, children's rights experts, media and individuals working to protect children's rights, as well as online contributions from participants.
